"Split Decision" is a burst of energy and emotion captured on a 9 x 9 surface. The bold, vibrant colors and lively brushstrokes bring the whole piece to life, drawing you in and sparking your imagination. The way the green, red, and orange hues play off each other, separated by a bold stripe of blue and navy, creates a mesmerizing contrast that just begs to be explored. The thick layers of paint add depth and texture, making you want to reach out and touch the canvas.
While there are no clear shapes or figures, it's that very ambiguity that allows you to delve into the deeper themes of division, harmony, and the interplay of contrasting colors. It's a visually stimulating piece that really makes you think and feel.
